Sideload Channel Launcher 1 for TV

"This is a very good app to deal with the horrid Oreo update*. You can customize the screen as you like. Very easy to use and sensible operation. To get to 5 stars it would be ace if you could :- 1. Allow more lines of apps - so apps can be sorted to more horizontal lines. 2. Allow for changing background images/wallpapers, which i am really missing from previous stock v7 version 3. Create Status bar for - Time, date, location etc... 4. Create Tabs on app lines which contain more relevant apps (like drawers) Cheers & Keep up the good work !!!"

"Great app that improves the customization of the new AndroidTV launcher. Some features id like to see would be: - a 3rd tile option of vertical rectangle, just like how the NVIDIA Games channels shows video game covers. - changing the size of the tiles if such a thing is possible - extra launching features such as youtube videos or opening files with certain apps"

"Sideload Channel by DXIdev is the only launcher I have come to love on my Nvidia Shields. Unlike some others that toss out the functionality of Google's Android TV OS UI, Sideload Channel complements and augment it. When I turn my shield on, the UI still tells me what is good to watch on HBO Now, Amazon Video, Netflix, Acorn TV, Vudu and Hulu just like it would without Sideload Channels apk. However, this app gives me the ability to add 3rd party sideloaded apps to the menu which isn't always possible without it. I can have a file utility channel, a music channel, a cloud channel, a vpn channel with two vpn service providers, general maintenance channel with 3rd party app store and cleaners. This is how a launcher should work. Not stomp on over the existing work Google and Nvidia put into the UI of the operating system, but simply augment its capabilities. If you have a Shield TV, this app is a no brainer. A solid Five Stars from me."

"Great app! Makes my Nvidia Shield TV way more efficient. It seemed difficult at first, but just follow the tutorial closely and you'll figure it out. The ability to add images via URL is really useful, given that there is no way to add images directly from your device. I found Pasteboard works well to upload your images. Just use the "Embed Image" link, not the link of the image itself. And I'm not sure if the image has to be a PNG, but that's how it worked for me. I made a good looking icon to replace the Steam icon on the shield if anyone wants to use it :] (Insert dots & dashes as needed (cdn pbrd co images HJv1GBR png)). The only issues I have are (like others have mentioned), having the channel name on the left say "Sideload Channel" instead of what I actually named it, and also not being able to assign the channel icon to open a specific application. But again, great app! Thanks!"

"I like the app just having trouble figuring out how to make the apps show like normal apps in the home page,they get installed to something like a folder ---like sideload launcher. I am editing my review to 5 stars they were good enough to answer me and give me a little video on how to use it,exactly what I needed! No other way to contact thye devs was wondering if I could get link to tut that you had made for me,as a lot of people I send to app need help"
